i am currently at my grandma's house in Malaysia. last week was quite a busy week, i didn't even get to blog before i left! so anyway, CNY has been great so far. i really think the CNY atmosphere here is much stronger than in Singapore. #justsaying and because this is kinda like a "kampong", there are not many regulations around so people can just set fireworks as and when they like. usually on CNY eve you'll alr start to hear and see fireworks, esp when it's nearing 12. and when it's officially CNY, you'll see fireworks all around you (literally)!!! that's one thing i reaaaaaaaally love about spending CNY here. fireworks are beautiful ☺

and actually we're not that "traditional". i think i didn't even get to eat the reunion dinner cos i was sleeping. LOL. and there's no visiting of relatives and stuff like what i see many people tweet about on Twitter. and there's no putting on of new clothes on the first day of CNY cos we'll just be staying at home. so yeah, i think we're kinda different in that sense?

and people also like to hold their weddings/class gatherings during the CNY period. up till today i've attended 2 wedding buffets and 1 wedding dinner. there's one more to go to tonight. :O that's a lot of food btw. every time when i'm back in Malaysia i'll naturally have better appetite and eat a lot. HAHAHA idk why. but i hope you guys can still recognize me when i go back to Sg!!

enough about Malaysia. last week before i left for Malaysia i met a couple of friends for our reunion dinner as well ☺ first reunion dinner was with the girls @ Shijie's house. we had our steamboat and a mini MJ session hehe.

started off with lou hei!! this was when the joke of the day was created. junho came up w a lot of weird lou hei wishes and spammed "KUAI GAO ZHANG DA" cos he wanted to grow bigger and taller. there were some other ridiculous wishes but i cannot remember anymore!! :/

then i met with the JC kidz! it was kinda like farewell for KJ, JC and Shermz cos they're gonna be in army next week already. we went to have our reunion dinner at Plum Village. a few people couldn't make it though so it was kinda sad actually :/

anyway, KJ was late so i was late. we cabbed to Plum Village from AMK and i seriously think we got scammed :( i think i should stop meeting him to go meet the rest together. cos every time we're otw i'll tell him everything honestly (like the angbao joke) but when we meet the rest he'll tell them what i told him!!! HAHAHA i hate you for that although you're like one of my best friends. *winks* take care in army though!!

and JC. i'm sooooooooooo happy for him but i cannot say why. *winks again* please upload photos before you go in to army!! ☺☺ and i'm so gonna miss Shermz's hair. HAHAHA. ☹
